Kimberly Smith-Johnson is an accomplished HR executive, trusted advisor, and strategic business partner with more than 25 years of experience helping organizations build stronger workplaces through effective people strategies. Her expertise spans Human Resources, Leadership Development, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DEI), Organizational Strategy, and Change Management, serving clients across industries including education, e-commerce, manufacturing, food service, distribution, and government.

Kimberly specializes in designing practical HR solutions that help organizations grow with confidence. From building HR infrastructures and developing employee handbooks to implementing talent acquisition and performance management systems, she partners with businesses to create compliant, scalable HR practices that support long-term success.

As a scholar-practitioner and lifelong learner, Kimberly is passionate about developing people as much as organizations. She mentors HR professionals, delivers training programs, and provides strategic consulting that empowers leaders to build thriving workplace cultures.

Kimberly holds undergraduate degrees from Purdue University in Behavioral Sciences, Professional Communications, and Human Resources, along with a Master of Science in Strategic Human Resource Management from Walden University, where she continues post-graduate studies.
